We are seeking a qualified and experienced General Duty Assistant (GDA) Trainer to lead healthcare training sessions under the Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana (DDU-GKY) project. The trainer will be responsible for imparting domain training (theoretical and practical) to rural youth in accordance with Healthcare Sector Skill Council (HSSC) and DDU-GKY guidelines, preparing them for careers as General Duty Assistants in hospitals, clinics, and healthcare facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Training Delivery: Conduct classroom lectures and hands-on practical training on bedside care, patient hygiene, infection control, vital signs monitoring, patient transfer, and emergency care as per the GDA curriculum.
- Curriculum &
- Lesson Planning:
Prepare lesson plans, practical demonstration setups, teaching aids, and session schedules aligned with NSDC/HSSC guidelines.
- Candidate Assessment &
- Evaluation:
Conduct regular assessments, mock tests, and practical evaluations to track trainee progress and ensure exam readiness for final assessment and certification.
- Lab Management: Maintain the GDA practical simulation lab, ensuring all medical equipment, mannequins, and training consumables are clean, functional, and organized.
- Documentation &
- Compliance:
Maintain daily candidate attendance, lesson logs,
batch trackers, and training records as mandated by DDU-GKY norms and inspection requirements.
- Soft Skills &
- Placement Support:
Collaborate with soft skills trainers and center managers to build professional discipline, ethics, and interview readiness among candidates.
Required Qualifications &
- Experience
- Education: B.Sc Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc Nursing OR GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery) diploma from a recognized institution.
- Experience:
- Minimum 1–3 years of clinical bedside experience or healthcare teaching experience.
- Experience as a GDA/Healthcare trainer in government skill development projects (DDU-GKY, PMKVY, NULM, NSDC) is highly preferred.
- Certification: TOT (Training of Trainers) certification certified by HSSC/NSDC is a robust advantage.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹12,000.00 per month
