Job Summary

TYKA Sports Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Garment Stitching Quality Checker to ensure that garments produced in the stitching department meet the company's quality standards. The candidate will be responsible for checking stitching quality, identifying defects, and coordinating with the stitching team to maintain consistent production quality.

Key Responsibilities

- Inspect stitched garments during and after the stitching process.
- Check garments for stitching defects, loose threads, open seams, broken stitches, skipped stitches, puckering, and improper alignment.
- Verify measurements and garment specifications as per approved samples and production requirements.
- Check seam quality, stitch density, finishing, and overall garment appearance.
- Identify defective garments and communicate issues to the Stitching Supervisor and operators.
- Ensure defects are corrected before garments move to the next production process.
- Maintain quality inspection records and report recurring defects.
- Conduct regular quality checks during production to minimize rejection and rework.
- Ensure garments are produced according to approved samples, specifications, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with the Production, Sampling, and Quality teams to resolve quality-related issues.
- Follow company quality procedures and maintain workplace discipline.





Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience as a Garment Quality Checker, Stitching Quality Checker, Inline Checker, or similar role.
- Experience in garment or apparel manufacturing is preferred.
- Good knowledge of garment stitching and common stitching defects.
- Ability to understand garment measurements and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and quality awareness.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production workplace.

Preferred Skills
- Experience in sportswear or activewear manufacturing will be an advantage.
- Knowledge of inline and end-line garment inspection.
- Ability to identify and reduce stitching defects and rework.
- Basic knowledge of quality control procedures.
