Role Description The Garment HR Manager is a full-time, in office role based in Erode, responsible for overseeing all human resources functions within the manufacturing facility. This role includes managing recruitment and onboarding of production and support staff, coordinating workforce planning, and maintaining updated employee records.

The HR Manager supports employee relations, addresses grievances, and ensures fair and transparent HR practices aligned with organizational policies. Day-to-day tasks include administering attendance and payroll inputs, monitoring compliance with labor laws and factory regulations, and implementing health, safety,



and welfare initiatives. The role also involves conducting performance reviews, planning training and skill development programs, and collaborating closely with production and management teams to maintain a productive, inclusive, and compliant work environment.

Qualifications

- Strong HR operations skills, including recruitment, onboarding, attendance management, and payroll coordination.
- Knowledge of labor laws, factory regulations, and compliance requirements relevant to garment manufacturing.
- Experience in employee relations, grievance handling, conflict resolution, and maintaining a positive workplace culture.
- Ability to design and implement training, performance management, and workforce development initiatives.
- Familiarity with HR documentation, reporting, and use of HR software or ERP systems.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or a related field.
- Prior experience in HR within garment, textile, or manufacturing industries is highly beneficial.
- Strong communication skills in English and local languages, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
- Demonstrated organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with attention to detail.
- Experience in Certifications - Sedex, WRAP, BCSI and related Documentation
