Role Overview

We are looking for a

Gallery Assistant who is passionate about the art market, different art forms, and working closely with artists. Candidates who are articulate, organised, people-friendly, and eager to immerse themselves in gallery operations are ideally suited.

Responsibilities

- Assist in gallery operations, visitor engagement, and exhibition support.

- Communicate confidently with artists, clients, and walk-in visitors.

- Maintain records of artworks, clients, sales, and event details.

- Provide insights into artworks, artists, and ongoing exhibitions.

- Be present physically during gallery hours, events, workshops, and shows.

- Support curation setup, display arrangements, and coordination tasks.

Requirements

- Keen interest in the art market, art history,



and contemporary art forms.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Good organisational ability and record-keeping skills.

- Willingness to work in a hybrid format with required in office presence.
