Job Summary

Serve as a Functional Architect specializing in SAP FICO and FICA integration to design optimize and govern end to end financial processes for a global enterprise in a hybrid work model. Collaborate with finance and procurement stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into reliable SAP solutions that improve compliance transparency and operational efficiency across the organization.

Responsibilities

- Lead end to end solution design for SAP FICO and FICA integration ensuring that financial postings from procurement processes are accurate timely and aligned with global accounting standards across the enterprise.

- Oversee configuration of SAP FI modules to support core finance processes including general ledger accounts payable accounts receivable and asset accounting while maintaining consistent integration points with materials management.

- Provide expert guidance on SAP cost center accounting design so that internal cost allocations budget tracking and performance reporting deliver clear and actionable insights for business stakeholders.

- Drive harmonization of SAP FICO processes across regions by defining standard templates common master data structures and integration patterns that support scalable and maintainable financial operations.

- Analyze complex business requirements from finance and procurement teams then translate them into robust SAP configuration and functional specifications that enable accurate and compliant transaction flows.

- Validate end to end data flows between SAP FI MM and related modules identifying gaps proposing remediation options and ensuring that financial impacts of logistics processes are fully traceable and auditable.





- Collaborate closely with business users during workshops fit gap sessions and testing cycles to confirm that designed solutions meet operational needs without over customization and remain aligned with enterprise architecture principles.

- Coordinate and review functional design documents test scenarios and test scripts for SAP FICO and FI MM integration to ensure that regression risks are minimized and that key financial controls are protected.

- Support project teams during system integration testing and user acceptance testing by resolving defects explaining functional logic and recommending process adjustments that increase system usability and adoption.

- Develop and maintain high quality process documentation configuration guides and training materials so that finance and accounting teams can operate SAP solutions efficiently and independently.

- Advise program managers and stakeholders on solution impacts cutover risks and readiness criteria during deployment cycles ensuring that financial closing activities can proceed smoothly post go live.

- Optimize hybrid work collaboration by using digital tools for remote workshops design reviews and issue resolution while maintaining clear communication channels with onsite and remote stakeholders.

- Ensure that all SAP FICO and FI MM solutions comply with internal controls audit requirements and relevant regulatory expectations thereby strengthening trust in reported financial information.





- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the SAP finance landscape by monitoring key performance indicators gathering feedback from users and proposing configuration or process enhancements that improve efficiency.

- Coordinate with technical teams to evaluate the impact of system upgrades patches and new features on existing financial processes recommending safe implementation strategies that reduce disruption.

Qualifications

- Offer extensive hands on experience with SAP FI and MM integration demonstrating solid proficiency in designing account determination tax handling and goods receipt and invoice receipt reconciliation to support complex procurement and finance scenarios.

- Apply deep expertise in SAP cost center accounting by defining cost center hierarchies allocation cycles and reporting structures that enable precise tracking of operational spending and internal performance.

- Bring broad functional knowledge in SAP FICO including general ledger accounts payable accounts receivable and controlling with proven ability to configure and troubleshoot core finance processes in large scale environments.

- Utilize strong SAP FI experience with at least twelve years in implementation or support roles showcasing the capability to handle complex configuration topics interfaces and integration dependencies with other modules.

- Leverage practical domain exposure in finance and accounting to interpret policies chart of accounts structures and reporting requirements so that SAP solutions accurately reflect real world financial operations.

- Apply knowledge of industry essentials by aligning SAP financial processes with sector specific practices compliance needs and performance metrics that help the organization remain competitive and responsible.

- Demonstrate excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities suitable for hybrid work ensuring that onsite and remote collaborators receive clear guidance and timely responses across project phases.
