Full-Time Police Officer The Hingham Police Department is seeking qualified lateral transfer candidates for the position of full-time police officer. Candidates must have completed a Full time Basic Massachusetts Police Training Committee (MPTC) Police Academy or an accepted equivalent.

The Hingham Police Department has 53 officers which includes the Chief, Deputy Chief, 5 Lieutenants and 7 Sergeants. The department has detective, traffic, and K-9 divisions. The Hingham Police Department offers a professional and proactive work environment. Qualified officers are eligible for a percentage based education incentive.

The preferred candidate will hold an Associate's Degree or have comparable military service to be considered for employment.
