Job Title-Faculty and Program Manager – Programming, Software Development & Database Systems
Job Location- Mira Bhayander-Mumbai
Employment Type- Full-Time, On-Site
Reporting To-Senior Program Manager
About the Role
We are looking for a passionate, student-centric, and industry-oriented Faculty and Program Manager who will be responsible for delivering high-quality academic sessions while managing the day-to-day academic and operational activities of one or more academic programs.
The role combines classroom teaching, student mentoring, curriculum development, academic administration, and program management to ensure an outstanding learning experience for students.
Key Responsibilities
1. Academic Delivery
- Deliver engaging theory and practical sessions using outcome-based teaching methodologies.
- Teach undergraduate and postgraduate students across multiple technology programs.
- Prepare lesson plans, presentations, lecture notes, lab manuals, assignments, and assessment material.
- Conduct practical sessions, coding demonstrations, workshops, and hands-on activities.
- Prepare question papers, quizzes, assignments, and evaluation rubrics.
- Evaluate examinations, practicals, assignments, and project submissions.
- Guide students during mini projects, major projects, internships, and capstone projects.
- Mentor students for coding competitions, hackathons, certifications, and technical events.
2. Subject Expertise The faculty member should be capable of teaching a combination of the following subjects based on institutional requirements.

The faculty may teach common subjects across multiple programs, including B.Sc. Data Science, B.Sc. Information Technology, BVoc Cloud Computing, and MCA , based on academic requirements. 3. Program Management Responsibilities
- Manage one or more academic programs assigned by the institution.
- Ensure smooth execution of the academic calendar.
- Prepare and monitor teaching plans and syllabus completion.
- Coordinate faculty schedules and classroom allocation.
- Monitor student attendance and academic progress.
- Conduct mentoring and counselling sessions.
- Coordinate examinations, practicals, vivas, and assessments.
- Address academic and operational concerns raised by students and faculty.
- Organize orientation programs, workshops, guest lectures, hackathons, industrial visits, and academic events.
- Coordinate internships and project activities.
- Maintain academic records, documentation, and reports.
- Ensure effective utilization of the Learning Management System (LMS).
- Work closely with Admissions, Examination, Placement, and Operations teams.
- Support accreditation, quality assurance, and curriculum enhancement initiatives.
4. Curriculum Development & Academic Innovation
- Continuously update course content to align with emerging technologies and industry practices.
- Develop practical assignments, coding exercises, and real-world projects.
- Introduce modern programming tools and frameworks into teaching.
- Recommend value-added courses, certifications, and new electives.
- Contribute to curriculum review and academic planning.
5. Student Development
- Mentor students for academic and career growth.
- Guide students for internships and placements.
- Conduct resume-building and interview preparation sessions.
- Encourage participation in technical competitions, hackathons, and certifications.
- Support students in building strong technical portfolios.
Educational Qualification
Essential
- MCA / M.Tech (Computer Science / Information Technology)
- OR M.Sc. Computer Science / Software Engineering
Preferred
- NET / SET Qualified
- Ph.D. (Completed or Pursuing)
Experience
Essential
- 3–8 years of teaching and/or relevant industry experience.
Preferred
- Experience teaching multiple university programs.
- Experience in academic coordination or program management.
- Hands-on software development experience.
