Role Description The FRP Site Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Surat. This role is responsible for supervising FRP (Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic) and related installation activities at project sites, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and according to specifications and quality standards.
Day-to-day tasks include coordinating site labor and contractors, monitoring material usage, inspecting work progress, and maintaining documentation such as daily site reports and checklists. The FRP Site Supervisor will liaise with project managers and clients, communicate site issues and requirements, and enforce safety policies and compliance with relevant standards. The role also involves troubleshooting technical problems on site, guiding the team on installation methods, and supporting testing, inspection,
and handover of completed work.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of FRP structures, fabricated tanks, HDPE joints, and HDPE pipeline systems, with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Experience in site supervision, including workforce coordination, task allocation, and monitoring daily progress on industrial or construction projects.
- Knowledge of safety practices and regulatory compliance at construction or industrial sites, with the ability to enforce safety protocols and conduct basic safety briefings.
- Basic project coordination skills, including record keeping, reporting, material tracking, and communication with internal teams and clients.
- Ability to identify and resolve site-level technical issues, perform quality checks, and ensure adherence to installation standards.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to work collaboratively with diverse site teams and stakeholders.
- Relevant technical diploma or degree in mechanical, civil, chemical, or related engineering discipline; equivalent experience in FRP/HDPE installations is also valued.
- Prior experience in industrial piping, tank fabrication, or similar fieldwork is preferred; familiarity with tools and equipment used in FRP and HDPE installation is beneficial.
