Role Description This is a part-time, on-site French and German Language Teacher role based in Mumbai. The teacher will plan and deliver engaging French and German lessons aligned with LEAD Group’s curriculum and learning standards, using a variety of teaching methods and digital tools.

Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, teaching classes, assessing student progress, providing feedback, and maintaining accurate records of assignments and evaluations.



The teacher will support learners of different proficiency levels, design activities to build speaking, reading, writing, and listening skills, and create a classroom workplace that encourages participation and confidence. The role also involves collaborating with school staff, participating in training sessions, and using LEAD Group’s Edtech resources to enhance language learning outcomes.

Qualifications

- Strong proficiency in French and German, with the ability to teach grammar, vocabulary, and communication skills across different levels.
- Experience in classroom instruction, lesson planning, and student assessment, preferably in language teaching or school-based settings.
- Ability to integrate technology into teaching, including use of digital platforms, multimedia resources, and interactive tools.
- Excellent classroom management, interpersonal communication, and learner engagement skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Languages, Education, or a related field; formal training or certification in French and/or German language teaching is an advantage.
- Familiarity with modern language teaching methodologies and competency-based or curriculum-aligned approaches.
- Ability to work collaboratively with school leadership and colleagues, and openness to ongoing professional development.
- Prior experience teaching in K-12 schools or Edtech-enabled environments in India is a plus.
