FreeSWITCH Engineer / VoIP Engineer Role: FreeSWITCH Engineer

Experience: 5 to 8 Years

Location: Delhi NCR, Pune, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Bhubaneswar, Kochi

Education: B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science, Electronics, Telecommunications, or equivalent experience

Mandatory Skills

- Strong hands-on experience with FreeSWITCH (Dialplan, Modules, ESL/API Integrations)
- Expertise in WebRTC technologies: ICE, STUN/TURN, DTLS-SRTP, SDP, mod_verto, WSS
- Strong SIP knowledge (RFC 3261, SIP Trunks, NAT Traversal, Codec Tuning, RTP Optimization, SRTP/TLS)
- Experience integrating FreeSWITCH with Contact Center/CCaaS platforms
- Hands-on experience with ACD, Skill-Based Routing, Queue Management using mod_callcenter or FIFO queues
- Experience with Call Recording, Monitoring, Whisper/Barge,



and Supervisor Features

Roles & Responsibilities
- Monitor platform health, handle incidents, log tracing, and change management activities
- Deploy and troubleshoot SIP gateways, WSS, TURN, ICE/DTLS, codec-related issues
- Perform log analysis and root cause investigation for voice/video communication issues
- Create and maintain runbooks, SOPs, and operational documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for deployment and production support

Valuable to Have
- Experience with Asterisk or other VoIP/Open-Source telephony platforms
