Role Overview

We are looking for a hands-on NetSuite Developer / Technical Consultant to support and extend an existing NetSuite implementation for a manufacturing organization. This is not a purely functional/admin role — the ideal candidate is comfortable writing and debugging SuiteScript, querying data via SuiteQL, and working on live integrations between NetSuite, Salesforce, and Arena PLM via MuleSoft.

Key Responsibilities

- Troubleshoot and resolve NetSuite errors across core transactional flows (e.g., inventory transfer orders, fulfillments), distinguishing standard NetSuite errors from custom script-level issues.
- Review, debug, and complete in-progress custom automations/scripts (SuiteScript) built by the existing team.
- Write and optimize SuiteQL queries for custom reporting and data extraction needs.
- Support and enhance NetSuite functionality across Manufacturing, Finance, and Sales Order modules.
- Work on and maintain integrations between NetSuite, Salesforce, and Arena PLM, using MuleSoft as the middleware layer.
- Collaborate directly with the client's technical and business stakeholders to scope issues, propose fixes, and communicate root causes clearly.

Required Skills & Experience





- Proven hands-on experience with SuiteScript (custom scripting/automation) in NetSuite — not limited to configuration or admin work.
- Strong working knowledge of SuiteQL (Suite Query Language).
- Functional experience in NetSuite Manufacturing module (primary requirement) — inventory management, transfer orders, fulfillment processes.
- Working knowledge of NetSuite Finance and Sales Order modules.
- Experience with NetSuite integrations, specifically Salesforce and Arena PLM, using MuleSoft as middleware.
- Ability to independently diagnose issues from limited information and identify whether a fix requires script-level vs. standard configuration changes.
- Solid communication skills — comfortable explaining technical root causes to non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to Have

- Prior experience picking up and continuing someone else's in-progress NetSuite customization/automation work.
- Experience working with US-based clients/teams and overlapping availability with US Central time.

Work Timing / Availability

- Primary working hours aligned with India Standard Time (IST), with reasonable overlap into US Central time for calls/collaboration.
- Occasional availability beyond standard hours for urgent/priority issues only — not a routine expectation.

Engagement Type

- Freelance basis (role specifics — duration, rate, exclusivity — to be finalized based on client requirements).
