For the past two years, we have been conducting walking tours and day tours across Bengaluru, hosting over 1,000 guests from around the world. Our tours focus on storytelling, local culture, history, food, and everyday life in the city, offering travelers a more personal and engaging way to experience Bengaluru. We’re looking for enthusiastic and dependable people who enjoy interacting with others, exploring the city, and creating memorable experiences for people.

About the Role

We are looking for people passionate about TRAVELLING to lead our curated Walking and Day tours in Bengaluru.

Time Commitment

1. Minimum 5-20 hours per week
2. Adaptable schedule, but reliability is essential
3. Each tour goes on for 2.5-3 hours, Day tours go on for 6-7 hours.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead engaging walking tours in Malleshwaram and full-day tours in Bangalore.
2. Interact confidently with international guests
3. Share stories, history, and cultural insights
4. Answer questions on Indian history and cultural nuances
5. Ensure a smooth, welcoming, and well-managed tour experience
6. Navigate neighbourhoods confidently and manage groups

What We’re Looking For Essential

1. Strong communication and storytelling skills (Exposure to Dale Carnegie–style communication is a plus, not a requirement though.)
2. Comfort engaging with diverse groups
3. Good city navigation and orientation skills

Preferred

1. Strong familiarity with Malleshwaram and Bangalore.
2.



Travel experience and cultural curiosity
3. Background in Social Sciences is a huge plus (History, Sociology, Political Science, etc.)
4. Others should also apply if they can demonstrate deep knowledge of Indian history, culture, and social contexts, and confidently handle guest questions.

? Compensation (Freelance Model)

1. ₹400 (Walking tour) per guest, ₹1200 (Day tour) per guest
2. Payout is variable and increases with group size
3. Average earning: ~ ₹800-2000 per tour
4. 100% of tips go to the guide (~₹600 per tour on average; not guaranteed)

- This is a freelance, assignment-based prospect, not a salaried job. There is no guaranteed fixed income—work and earnings depend on the number of tours and guest participation. But don’t worry, you’re definitely going to earn.
- Payments are made per tour, on a freelance basis.
- There might be a week where you’ll not be assigned enough tours, and some where you won’t find space to breathe ?
