About Fabric
Fabric is an AI hiring platform. Companies use our AI interviews, sourcing agents, and cheating detection to screen and hire at scale. We've run over 100,000 interviews for customers including Meesho, CRED, and Kearney.
About the role
You're our first support hire. When a recruiter's interviews fail or a candidate disputes a cheating flag, you own it until it's resolved. Some of it comes up at 9pm before a customer's hiring drive. You work directly with the founders and the engineers, and this role grows into support lead or product ops as we scale.
What you'll do
- Own every customer and candidate issue from first reply to resolution
- Debug before escalating: reproduce the issue and decide from the logs whether it's a bug, a config issue, expected behavior, or user error
- Write escalations engineers can act on without a follow-up call
- Build the help center and macros so repeat questions stop reaching you
- Chase down interviews that didn't happen and get them rescheduled
- Send the founders a weekly top-issues report that shapes what we build
What we need
- Sharpness. You'll be diagnosing an AI product all day, and most problems won't come with instructions
- You like fixing things for people, including the angry and the confused
- You write clearly and rapid
- Technical enough to read logs and reproduce bugs. You don't need to code, but you can't be afraid of a dashboard
- Support experience helps but isn't required. We care more about how you think
Not for you if
- You need a playbook handed to you
- You see support as a stopgap until you move to a better role
- Your instinct with a hard ticket is to pass it along to someone else
How we hire
1. A 30-minute AI interview (yes, ours)
2. Assignment
3. Assignment discussion + founder round
Most of our hiring process completes in a week.
