The role

This is not a standard ops role.

You'll sit inside our Founder's Office — a small team that keeps the company's internal operations running cleanly. Not producing decks. Not writing proposals. Solving things. When something is broken or stuck, you fix it before it becomes the founders' problem.

On a typical week you will:

- Spot coordination failures and fix them directly
- Own recurring processes (reporting, scheduling, tracking) the founding team currently handles themselves
- Triage the week's noise — route what belongs elsewhere, act on what's yours, ignore what's irrelevant
- Keep six department pods aligned without adding load to their plates
- Use AI tools (Claude, GPT) to move faster — not to replace judgment

Nothing is handed to you defined and clean. If you need someone to tell you exactly what to do each day, this is the wrong role.

Requirements

Who we're looking for ✅ Has resolved a real operational mess under time pressure — not managed it, resolved it

✅ Background in ed-tech, high-volume support,



or anywhere things break fast and recovery is the only option

✅ Communicates plainly — short messages that give people what they need

✅ Knows when to redirect something vs own it

✅ Comfortable with basic tools (Sheets, Docs, Slack, Drive) without being asked how they work

✅ Has faced a difficult stakeholder and come out the other side without losing the plot

We don't care about: ❌ Your degree or institution

❌ Whether your last company was well-known

❌ How many years of experience you have

❌ Whether your CV is formatted beautifully
