Role Description: The Founder's Associate (Business Development and Operations) is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram. We are looking for a qualified with 1–2 years of experience in business development, operations, consulting, energy management, IoT solutions, or a related domain.

In this role, you will work closely with the founder to drive strategic initiatives, business growth, and operational excellence. You will identify potential customers and partners, manage sales pipelines, conduct market and competitor research, and develop go-to-market strategies for KlimaShift's energy management and IoT solutions.

You will also support operational initiatives by streamlining internal processes, tracking key business metrics, coordinating with customers, vendors, and external stakeholders, and preparing reports and presentations for leadership meetings. The role involves managing pilot deployments, coordinating cross-functional teams, documenting processes,



and ensuring successful execution of projects from planning through implementation.

This position provides hands-on exposure to scaling an early-stage climate-tech startup while working on cutting-edge energy management systems, smart monitoring platforms, IoT devices, and sustainability solutions. Qualifications

1–2 years of qualified experience in business development, operations, consulting, energy management, IoT, SaaS, or a related field.

Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to conduct market research, competitor analysis, and translate findings into actionable business recommendations.

Experience in business development, including lead generation, partnership development, sales pipeline management, and customer engagement.

Familiarity with energy management systems, IoT devices, smart sensors, automation platforms, or industrial monitoring solutions is highly preferred.

Understanding of commercial models, solution selling, and enterprise customer engagement.

Excellent operational and organizational skills, including project coordination, process documentation, and stakeholder management.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare presentations, proposals, business reports, and executive summaries.

High level of ownership, problem-solving ability, and adaptability in a fast-paced startup environment.

Passion for climate technology, sustainability, and leveraging technology to improve energy efficiency.

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a related discipline.

Experience working with startups, climate-tech companies, energy management firms, IoT solution providers, or consulting organizations will be an added advantage.
