FOOD & BEVERAGE MANAGER

Job Summary And Core Activities

- Manage Food and Beverage Outlet administrative and operational duties as needed to ensure operational effectiveness and guest satisfaction
- Works to continually improve guest and employee satisfaction while maintaining the operating budget
- Lead development and training of team to improve results while maintaining standards
- Regularly review and evaluate the degree of customer satisfaction of the restaurant; recommend current marketing and/or operational policies and procedures when necessary to keep up with demand and market changes; investigate and resolve food quality and service complaints
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures that relate to the restaurant as well as local, state and federal laws and regulations; maintain cleanliness and proper sanitation of all work and service areas
- Assist in developing, implementing and marketing new and creative specialty food and beverage items for promotional or special events to attract a predetermined customer market
- You must be able to pass a thorough background check as well as be drug free

Required Qualifications Desired Skills & Experience:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Food & Beverage Management or equivalent training in a related field
- Minimum 3-5 years experience in management level position in Food & Beverage or equivalent training experience
- Strong English communications skills with conversational Spanish
- Strong computer skills (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
- Must be flexible, have a sense of urgency, be able to respond quickly and resourcefully to internal and external issues
- Possess the necessary local Certifications from the local authority to run the F&B; of the Resort
- Proven abilities to lead and develop staff
