Role Description The Food and Beverage Steward is a full-time, on-site role based in Goa, India. This role is responsible for supporting daily food and beverage operations, including setting up and clearing dining areas, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards, and assisting in the presentation and service of vegetarian Indian thalis and other menu items.

The steward collaborates closely with servers, kitchen staff, and supervisors to ensure efficient service, timely replenishment of supplies, and a positive guest experience. Day-to-day tasks include handling tableware and equipment carefully,



following safety and sanitation procedures, and responding to guest requests in a courteous and professional manner. The role also involves participating in training sessions, adhering to hotel policies, and contributing to a welcoming and orderly work environment.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess solid Customer Service and Communication skills to interact professionally with guests and team members.
- Candidates should possess Food & Beverage and Food Service skills, including basic knowledge of service standards and hygiene practices.
- Candidates should possess Training-related skills, such as the ability to learn procedures quickly and follow guidance from supervisors.
- Attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.
- Basic understanding of food safety regulations and hotel service etiquette; prior experience in hospitality or restaurants is an advantage.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, and collaborate effectively as part of a diverse team.
