Role Description The Food and Beverage Manager is a full time, on-site role based in Lumbini, Nepal. This position oversees daily food and beverage operations, including planning menus, managing service quality, and ensuring compliance with hygiene and safety standards. The manager leads, trains, and schedules staff, monitors inventory and supplier relationships, and coordinates with the kitchen and front-of-house teams to deliver consistent guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities also include managing budgets, controlling costs, analyzing sales performance, and implementing initiatives to improve revenue and guest experience.



The role requires hands-on involvement on the floor, addressing guest inquiries, resolving service issues, and maintaining high standards of presentation and hospitality.

Qualifications

Robust knowledge of Food Service and Food & Beverage operations, including menu planning and quality control.

Demonstrated Customer Service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction and handling feedback professionally.

Experience in Training team members, coaching staff, and building a positive, performance-oriented work environment.

Ability to manage Budgeting, cost control, and basic financial reporting related to food and beverage functions.

Previous experience in hotel or resort food and beverage management, preferably in a similar market or region.

Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.

Knowledge of food safety, hygiene regulations, and best practices in hospitality operations.

Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, or a related field is preferred.

Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by operational needs.
