Role Description The Front Office Associate is responsible for delivering courteous and efficient service to guests from arrival through departure. Day-to-day tasks include welcoming guests, managing check-in and check-out procedures, handling reservations, and responding to inquiries in person, by phone, and via email. The role involves coordinating with housekeeping and other departments, maintaining accurate guest records, processing payments, and resolving guest concerns promptly and professionally.
The Front Office
Associate also supports lobby upkeep, provides information about resort amenities and local attractions, and ensures all front desk operations comply with resort policies and standards.
This is a full time, on-site role based at White Wharf Beach Resort in North Goa.
Qualifications
Strong customer service and guest relationship skills, with a friendly, professional demeanor in a hospitality environment.
Proficiency in communication skills, including clear spoken and written English; knowledge of additional local or international languages is an advantage.
Basic computer literacy and familiarity with reservation or property management systems; ability to manage email, data entry, and billing tasks accurately.
Solid organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced front office setting.
Problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities, with a calm, responsible approach to guest issues and unexpected situations.
Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays, and to collaborate effectively with diverse colleagues and departments.
Prior experience in front office operations, hotel reception, or customer-facing roles is preferred but not mandatory; training may be provided.
Minimum educational qualification of high school diploma or equivalent; hospitality-related coursework or certification is an added benefit.
