Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Finishing Engineer to supervise and manage finishing activities at our building construction project. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring quality execution, timely completion, coordination with various teams, and proper closure of finishing works as per approved drawings and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and manage day-to-day finishing activities at the construction site.
- Execute and monitor plastering, waterproofing, tiling, flooring, painting, putty, false ceiling, doors, windows, and other finishing works.
- Ensure finishing works are executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and project standards.
- Coordinate with Civil, MEP, Electrical, Plumbing, and other site teams to ensure smooth execution.
- Coordinate and monitor finishing subcontractors and their manpower.
- Check levels, line, alignment, slopes, dimensions, joints, and overall workmanship.
- Monitor daily progress and ensure activities are completed as per the project schedule.
- Identify site issues and coordinate with the Project/Site Manager for timely resolution.
- Study architectural and finishing drawings and ensure proper implementation at site.
- Coordinate with consultants/architects for inspections, approvals, and technical clarifications.




- Ensure required finishing materials are available at site and coordinate with the Store/Procurement team.
- Monitor material usage and minimize wastage.
- Prepare and maintain daily/weekly progress reports.
- Identify finishing defects and prepare snag lists.
- Coordinate with subcontractors for timely rectification and snag closure.
- Conduct area-wise/flat-wise inspections and ensure works are ready for handover.
- Maintain proper housekeeping in finishing areas.
- Ensure workers and subcontractors follow site safety requirements.
- Assist in final inspection, snag closure, and project handover activities.

Finishing Works Exposure The candidate should have experience in one or more of the following:

- Internal & External Plastering
- Waterproofing
- Tile & Stone Work
- Flooring & Skirting
- Putty & Painting
- False Ceiling
- Doors & Windows
- Aluminium & Glazing Works
- Railing & Metal Works
- Sanitary Fixture Coordination
- External Finishing Works
- Snagging & Handover

Candidate Profile

- Diploma/B.E./B.Tech. in Civil Engineering preferred.
- 5–10 years of relevant experience in building construction and finishing works.
- Strong knowledge of architectural and finishing drawings.
- Good experience in handling subcontractors and site manpower.
- Good coordination and communication skills.
- Ability to independently manage finishing activities at site.
- Candidates who can join immediately or within a short notice period will be preferred.
