■ About the Role

Sparrow Shopfits is hiring an experienced and hands-on Financial Controller to manage the company’s finance, accounting, cash flow, compliance and financial reporting functions.

The role will oversee Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, banking, taxation, MIS and project-level financial controls, while working closely with the CEO/MD and internal teams.

■ Key Responsibilities

- Manage the complete Finance & Accounts function, including AP, AR, accounting and reconciliations.
- Manage cash flow, working capital, vendor payments, collections and fund planning.
- Review vendor payment proposals, outstanding liabilities, advances and reconciliations.
- Monitor client receivables, ageing and overdue collections.
- Prepare weekly/monthly cash-flow, payment and collection plans.
- Prepare P&L;, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, MIS and management reports for CEO/MD.
- Monitor project-wise revenue, cost, billing, collections and profitability.
- Ensure timely month-end/year-end closing, provisions and ledger scrutiny.
- Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax and other statutory requirements.
- Coordinate with CA, auditors, banks and statutory authorities.
- Manage banking operations, reconciliations and required documentation.
- Review budgets, forecasts, actual performance and variance reports.




- Strengthen financial controls, SOPs, approval systems and reporting processes.
- Identify cost overruns, cash-flow risks and financial gaps and recommend corrective actions.
- Review PO/WO controls, vendor billing and client billing processes.
- Lead and guide the Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable teams.
- Support CEO/MD in financial planning and business decision-making.

■ Mandatory Requirements
- B.Com / M.Com / MBA Finance / CA Inter or relevant finance qualification.
- 5–8 years of relevant Finance & Accounts experience, including team-handling exposure.
- Strong knowledge of accounting, GST, TDS, audits, banking and MIS reporting.
- Good understanding of cash flow, working capital, budgeting and project accounting.
- Proficiency in Tally / ERP / Accounting Software and Advanced MS Excel.
- Strong analytical, leadership, coordination and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in Interior Fit-Out, Construction, EPC, Contracting or project-based companies preferred.
- Immediate or early joiners preferred.
