Summary: Responsible for financial planning, analysis, reporting, and supporting decision-making to drive profitability and operational efficiency.
Key responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and variance analysis.
- Build and maintain financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and scenario analysis.
- Analyze P&L;, balance sheet, cash flow trends and key performance indicators.
- Support month-end close, account reconciliations, and cost-control initiatives.
- Provide actionable insights to business partners and senior management.
- Assist with financial planning & budgeting process and long-range strategic plans.
- Evaluate capital expenditures, ROI and project financials.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls; support audits.
- Run Financial Model for various capex projects and acquisition proposals
- Peers and Industry analysis
- Support CFO for various initiatives and for decision making with sharp analysis
Required qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; CFA/CA/ACCA or MBA preferred.
- 3–5 years’ experience in corporate finance, FP&A;, investment banking, or consulting.
Skills & competencies:
- Strong financial modeling, forecasting and Excel skills (incl. pivot tables, VLOOKUP/INDEX-MATCH).
- Experience with ERP/financial systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and BI tools (Power BI/Tableau) a plus.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
- Analytical mindset, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
- Advanced presentation skills
- AI skills and use of AI tools
Optional / Nice-to-have:
- Industry-specific experience, SQL, Python/R for data analysis, advanced presentation skills.
