What You'll Do

Drive Strategic Investment Decisions

- Partner with Business Unit leaders to shape Asia's financial strategy and investment priorities.
- Serve as a trusted financial advisor, guiding investment decisions and ensuring optimal allocation of resources across strategic initiatives.
- Evaluate investment opportunities and provide recommendations that maximize business value and return on investment.

Lead Financial Planning & Analysis

- Own and enhance FP&A; processes, including forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning.
- Drive continuous improvement of CapEx and OpEx planning frameworks to improve efficiency, accuracy, and business alignment.
- Deliver actionable insights that support informed decision-making and sustainable growth.

Influence Business Performance

- Collaborate with Finance, Sales, and Operations leaders to support critical business initiatives and improve profitability.




- Develop data-driven business cases and financial models that support strategic programs and growth investments.
- Provide financial leadership for initiatives aimed at strengthening Applied Materials' competitive position.

Deliver Analytical Excellence

- Conduct in-depth financial analyses and scenario modeling to assess risks, opportunities, and investment outcomes.
- Design frameworks and performance metrics that enable effective evaluation of strategic programs.
- Translate complex financial data into meaningful business insights for executive stakeholders.

Monitor Execution & Results

- Track program performance against financial targets, milestones, budgets, and timelines.
- Establish and monitor KPIs to measure success and drive accountability.
- Ensure robust governance, controls, and financial discipline across investment programs.

Stay Ahead of Market Trends

- Partner with Operations and business leaders to assess industry dynamics, ecosystem developments, and competitive trends across Asia.
- Provide insights that help shape strategic priorities and future investment decisions.

What You'll Bring

Required Qualifications

- 8+ years of progressive experience in FP&A;, strategic finance, finance business partnering, or investment analysis roles.
- Strong experience supporting executive leadership teams and influencing strategic business decisions.
- Advanced financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and investment evaluation skills.
- Deep understanding of financial planning processes, business performance management, and financial controls.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications

- B.E./B.Tech with MBA or equivalent advanced business qualification.
- Experience in technology, semiconductor, manufacturing, or global enterprise environments.
- Knowledge of accounting principles, governance frameworks, and tax regulations.
- Experience working with SAP ERP and advanced analytics tools.
- Exposure to regional or global business operations.
