Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Oracle Finance Functional Consultant to support and manage Oracle Finance applications and business processes. The role will work closely with Finance, IT, and business stakeholders to understand requirements, configure Oracle Finance modules, resolve issues, and drive process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and support Oracle Finance modules, including:

- General Ledger (GL)

- Accounts Payable (AP)

- Accounts Receivable (AR)

- Fixed Assets (FA)

- Cash Management (CM)

- Expenses
- Understand business requirements and translate them into Oracle functional solutions.
- Conduct requirement-gathering sessions with Finance and business teams.
- Configure Oracle Finance modules based on approved business requirements.
- Map As-Is and To-Be finance processes and identify opportunities for automation and improvement.
- Prepare functional requirement documents, configuration documents, test scenarios, and functional specifications.
- Coordinate with technical teams for reports, interfaces, integrations, and system enhancements.
- Support integration of Oracle Finance with other business applications and modules.
- Conduct SIT/UAT testing, defect tracking, and resolution.
- Provide day-to-day functional support to Finance users and resolve system-related issues.
- Support month-end and year-end financial closing activities from an Oracle system perspective.
- Assist with data migration, reconciliation, validation, and master-data activities.
- Develop and maintain finance reports and dashboards as required.
- Ensure appropriate controls, audit requirements, and statutory compliance are incorporated into system processes.
- Coordinate with vendors/implementation partners for enhancements and issue resolution.
- Prepare user manuals and conduct training for Finance users.




- Identify opportunities to improve finance processes through Oracle functionality and automation.

Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of Oracle EBS / Oracle Fusion Financials.
- Positive understanding of core finance and accounting processes.
- Strong knowledge of GL, AP, AR, FA and Cash Management.
- Experience in Oracle configuration and functional support.
- Knowledge of finance integrations and interfaces.
- Good understanding of accounting concepts, financial reporting, and reconciliation.
- Experience in preparing functional specifications and test cases.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to work effectively with Finance, IT, and cross-functional teams.

Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- MBA Finance / CA / CMA qualification will be an added advantage.

Experience
- Minimum 35 years of relevant experience in Oracle Finance Functional roles.
- Experience in Oracle Fusion Financials will be preferred.
- Experience in healthcare or other large, multi-location organizations will be an advantage.
