- 8+ years in finance and accounts, including 5+ years personally owning statutory financial statements and the year-end audit for a group with entities in more than one country.
- Demonstrable experience managing licensed statutory auditors in jurisdictions other than the one in which the candidate is qualified.
- Demonstrable ownership of a multi-entity consolidation, including intercompany elimination and foreign currency translation.
- Working command of transfer pricing: documentation, arm's-length support, and defence of intercompany pricing under challenge.
- Ownership of corporate tax filings and of the review and correction process applied before submission.
- Loan and borrowing accounting, including related-party loans,



interest recognition and covenant tracking.
- Expert knowledge of IFRS and of local generally accepted accounting principles, applied across more than one reporting framework.
- Ownership of the annual budget and the forecast cycle, including variance analysis and financial modelling at business unit level.
- Advanced systems and spreadsheet capability. The group's systems are not fully mature; the role holder must build controls and reconciliations without waiting for a system to provide them.
