About the Role

Jain Dairy is looking for an experienced Chartered Accountant to lead our Finance & Accounts function .

This is a leadership role for someone who can go beyond routine accounting and compliance. The person will be responsible for the overall financial control of the organization, including statutory compliances, audits, financial reporting, costing, working capital, funding, internal controls and finance processes across the organization.

The candidate will lead and develop our existing Finance & Accounts team and work closely with the management and other functional teams to build a stronger, more structured and process-driven finance function.

Key ResponsibilitiesFinance & Accounting

- Overall ownership of the Finance & Accounts function.
- Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly and annual closing of books.
- Review and finalize financial statements and accounts.
- Strengthen accounting systems, controls and reporting processes.
- Ensure accuracy of financial data and management reporting.
- Drive automation and improvement of accounting processes.

Tax & Statutory Compliance
- Overall responsibility for GST, Income Tax, TDS and other statutory compliances .
- Ensure timely filing, reconciliations and resolution of notices/issues.
- Ensure strong compliance controls and minimize financial and tax risks.

Audit & Internal Controls
- Lead and coordinate statutory/external audits .
- Drive internal audit and ensure timely closure of audit observations.




- Establish and strengthen internal financial controls.
- Identify process gaps, financial leakages and areas of risk across the organization.
- Develop and implement Finance SOPs and control mechanisms.

Costing & Profitability
- Develop and strengthen product costing systems.
- Analyze product-wise and business-wise profitability.
- Monitor cost variances and identify opportunities for cost optimization.
- Work closely with Production, Purchase, Sales and Operations teams on costing and financial performance.

Working Capital & Funding
- Manage working capital and cash-flow planning.
- Monitor receivables, payables and inventory-related financial impact.
- Coordinate with banks and financial institutions for working capital and other funding requirements.
- Support management in evaluating funding and financial decisions.

MIS & Management Reporting
- Develop meaningful MIS and dashboards for management decision-making.
- Provide regular analysis of revenue, margins, costs, working capital and profitability.
- Highlight financial risks, exceptions and opportunities to management.

Process & Organization Development
- Build standardized finance and accounting processes across the organization.
- Improve controls and financial discipline across departments.
- Work with ERP/technology teams to improve finance-related processes and reporting.




- Ensure finance processes are integrated with Sales, Purchase, Production, Warehouse and Operations.

Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor and develop the existing Finance & Accounts team of 8–9 members.
- Establish clear responsibilities, review mechanisms and performance standards.
- Build a culture of accountability, accuracy and timely execution.

What We Are Looking For
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) .
- 8–15 years of relevant post-qualification experience.
- Solid experience in Finance & Accounts, taxation and compliance.
- Experience managing a finance/accounts team.
- Strong understanding of GST, Income Tax, TDS, audit and financial reporting.
- Hands-on experience with costing, profitability analysis and working capital management.
- Experience in developing finance processes, SOPs and internal controls.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good understanding of ERP/accounting systems.
- Experience in manufacturing, FMCG, dairy or a similar business environment will be an advantage.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work directly with senior management.
