In this field sales role, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth by selling analytical instruments to customers across your designated territory.

As the primary point of contact for our clients, you will combine technical expertise with consultative selling to build lasting relationships, identify customer needs, and deliver innovative solutions that drive business success. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated skilled who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment and is committed to exceeding sales targets. Drive direct sales of analytical instruments to customers within assigned territories (industry segments, geographic regions, and market verticals) to achieve and exceed agreed-upon sales budgets and revenue targets

Serve as the primary customer contact for technical and business inquiries, coordinating with internal teams to resolve issues efficiently and maintain customer satisfaction

Build and maintain a robust pipeline of sales opportunities, ensuring consistent updates and sufficient project flow to accomplish sales objectives





Source new sales opportunities through diverse channels including networking, social media, cold outreach, lead follow-up, and inbound leads provided by headquarters

Conduct competitive analysis to understand competitor strengths, weaknesses, and market activities within your assigned territory

Develop and implement customized sales action plans targeting specific market segments and customer profiles

Negotiate and close sales orders while maintaining transparency and integrity throughout the sales process

Manage receivables collection and follow up on earnest money deposits to ensure timely payment

Participate in and support marketing and lead development initiatives such as seminars, webinars, conferences, and industry events

Communicate product innovations, service opportunities, market feedback, and competitive intelligence to appropriate company stakeholders

Maintain detailed records and reports on sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline progress using company systems Qualifications Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or a related technical field

Minimum 2-3 years of direct field sales experience, preferably in analytical instruments, scientific equipment, or technical products

Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets and revenue goals





Strong knowledge of territory and account management practices

Demonstrated ability to identify, qualify, and close sales opportunities

Excellent negotiation and closing skills with the ability to handle objections

Proficiency in customer relationship management (CRM) systems and sales tools

Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks

Ability to work independently in a field environment with minimal supervision

Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory

Excellent communication and presentation skills in English (written and verbal)

Problem-solving mindset with strong analytical capabilities

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in the analytical instruments, laboratory equipment, or scientific technology industry

Knowledge of technical product specifications and applications

Experience with pipeline management and sales forecasting

Familiarity with event coordination and lead generation activities

Track record of building and maintaining long-term customer relationships

Experience in competitive market analysis and strategic positioning

Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams

Master's degree in Science, Engineering, or Business Administration

Existing network or relationships within the Chennai market or South India region Additional Information Minimum 5 of years experience in the field Instrument sales

Excellent written and verbal communication

Must have - interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation and organizational skills

Ability to work independently and responsibly

High commitment to customer satisfaction

Willingness to travel throughout India
