- To control AMMONIA plants field operations for safe and smooth operation of the plants.
- To monitor and optimize the process parameters to achieve the targeted production conforming to the product specification, at highest possible productivity level ensuring adherence to the set norms with respect to safety health and environment.
- To ensure and follow parameters and SOPs of Ammonia.

Key Accountabilities & OutcomesKey Accountability

Major Activities/ Tasks

- Field operation
- Ensuring that plant operates at maximum productive level trough effective Field operation, production, consumption details, stock positions, plant problems, quality reports, corrective actions taken in case of deviation, pending problems and their implications, reporting the same to the Panel In charge and to the Shift In charge and communicating the relevant feedback down the line.
- Adjusting the process parameters within the safe limit of the operation
- Emergency
- During emergency in the plant to communicate other departments as per the guidelines given in the onsite emergency plan, immediately to take corrective and preventive actions to keep the plant in the secure condition. Also, to lead and guide as a shift in charge in case of his absence during emergency due to any eventuality.
- Documentation
- To log the parameters(critical) in Field log sheet and to validate it with the Shift In charge.
- Down Time




- To carryout independently plant start up, shutdown, emergencies handling and trouble shooting in the plant in coordination with the Panel In charge/ shift in charge and the other field executives as per checklist. Preparing record as per checklist & authenticate the same.
- Study of SOP, Process manual, Equipment specification, PSVs, CVs Pumps and Motor data sheet.
- Ensuring no downtime in operation by coordinating with plant in charges regarding consumption pattern of products & raw materials and communicate to Section Head regarding requirement of resources & with materials for their availability.

- Main interface of the Job Holder (Working relationships with Key stakeholders/ internal customers
- Other Job Holders that the Job holder have may to liaise, report or coordinate with

External Relations

- Main interface of the Job Holder (Working relationships with Key stakeholders/ external customers
- Quickly understand the plant status review the operating parameters of Field & shift process analysis.
- Handing over / taking over the charge in their respective operating areas to quickly understand the plant situations.
- To carryout effective troubleshooting of the plant operations/equipment, quick, accurate decision making to reduce the down time and potential hazards.

Education Qualifications / Background
