Role & responsibilities

Job Functions: The job functions outlined are merely illustrative and not exhaustive. They are liable to change as per the market requirements or exigencies of business.

a) You will report to the Regional Sales Manager at Palakkad and work under his guidance and instruction. You will be responsible to implement Company's policies in your territory from time to time. You will make all your efforts to improve company's image and market share. You will guide, monitor and supervise all your M.R.'s who will work under you.

b) As you are in a position discharging managerial and supervisory responsibilities, you will also work independently as per the need of the organisation.

c) You will be responsible for the development of medical representatives as well as self-development. As a leader of your area you would see that the company should grow in your region at much faster rate than the industry.

d) You will be responsible to manage all stockists in your region each one of them should maintain 45 days stocks, at the same time you will see that they make payments within the stipulated time to the Super-Stockist. The secondary sales & stock statement must be updated in the companys software latest by 5th of the following month.

e) You will plan tour programmes of each representative in your area in such a manner that the entire area should be covered economically and effectively.



Every town in tour programme must produce the desired business.

f) You will be checking and approving the Daily Call Reports (DCRs) of the MRs under your control on every day basis.

g) As and when you will have a recent M.R. under you, who is under probation, you will submit their Assessment Report in prescribed form every month. You are supposed to provide a feedback to H.O. on various matters concerning Company's interest.

h) You will be the sanctioning authority to sanction ‘Leave' of the M.R.'s under your control as per the Leave Rules of the Company.

i) At present you will work at Palakkad, Pollachi, Erode or any other area that may be added time to time.

j) You will be responsible to maintain cordial relations with the Health care professionals, Super stockists, Stockists and Retailers.

k) As regards your job functions, in case you need any further clarification, you can seek guidance from the Regional Sales Manager, Sales Manager or Vice President (Sales & Marketing).

In short, you will agree that you have to carry out the most important job of creating more business, bringing desired results in each medical representative's area communicating effectively with field professionals and head office and providing the leader-ship to all your M.R.'s so that they are motivated to improve the Company's image and sales immediately.
