Through research, implementation, partnerships, and public engagement, TUCI develops practical solutions to complex urban challenges across governance, climate, public policy, and civic innovation.

Role Description: The Henri Lefebvre Fellowship is a paid opportunity for individuals who want to contribute to meaningful work on cities and public systems.

Depending on the nature of the project and the Fellow's interests, responsibilities may include:

- Conducting research and policy analysis.
- Collecting, analysing, and interpreting qualitative and quantitative data.
- Preparing reports, policy briefs, presentations, and other knowledge products.
- Supporting field visits, stakeholder consultations, and community engagement activities.
- Assisting in the design and implementation of projects and pilot initiatives.
- Contributing to communications, events, and organisational initiatives.
- Working closely with governments, civil society organisations,



academic institutions, and other partners.

The fellowship offers exposure to both research and implementation, allowing Fellows to work on projects from concept to execution. Who we are looking for: Curious, self-driven individuals who enjoy solving complex problems and are interested in improving how cities work.

Applicants should ideally have

- 0–6 years of skilled experience (depending on the fellowship category).
- Strong research, analytical, and communication skills.
- An interest in cities, governance, climate, public policy, or related fields.
- The ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- A willingness to learn, take initiative, and adapt to new challenges.

Applicants from all academic backgrounds are welcome.
- Experience in research, consulting, government, civil society, design, technology, planning, or community-based work will be an advantage, but is not essential.
