About the Company

We are establishing a large-scale plastic recycling facility in India and are seeking an experienced consultant to develop a reliable, long-term supply chain for plastic waste feedstock across the country.

About the Role The ideal candidate has hands-on experience sourcing plastic waste from aggregators, MRFs, municipal corporations, waste management companies, PROs, scrap dealers, industrial generators, and FMCG companies.

Responsibilities

- Develop a nationwide plastic waste sourcing strategy.
- Build and manage relationships with aggregators, MRFs, municipal corporations, PROs, and waste management companies.
- Identify reliable suppliers of HDPE, PP, LDPE, and rigid plastic waste.
- Secure long-term supply agreements.
- Evaluate feedstock quality, pricing, contamination, and logistics.
- Develop procurement and logistics strategies to ensure a consistent supply of raw materials.
- Identify new sourcing opportunities across India.
- Assist with supplier onboarding, audits, and performance management.
- Support EPR-linked sourcing opportunities where applicable.

Qualifications





- 8–15+ years of experience in plastic waste sourcing, recycling, or waste management.
- Existing network of aggregators, MRF operators, municipal bodies, waste processors, and scrap suppliers across India.
- Robust understanding of plastic waste collection, segregation, logistics, and pricing.
- Experience negotiating commercial supply agreements.
- Knowledge of EPR ecosystem, PROs, and plastic recycling supply chains.
- Willingness to travel extensively across India.
