Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Fashion Designer role based in Ludhiana.

The Fashion

Designer will develop concepts and design collections, including sketches, mood boards, and technical specifications aligned with brand aesthetics. Daily responsibilities include selecting fabrics and trims, collaborating with pattern makers, overseeing fittings, and refining designs based on feedback. The role involves working with production teams to ensure quality standards, accurate garment construction, and timely delivery of samples and final pieces.

The Fashion

Designer will also stay up to date on trends, research new materials and techniques,



and support merchandising and marketing with design input and product information.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Fashion Design and Fashion skills, including conceptualization, sketching, and understanding of silhouettes and trends.
- Candidates should possess skills in Textiles, including fabric selection, properties, and suitability for different designs.
- Candidates should possess Embroidery skills, with an ability to design and guide detailed embellishments and surface ornamentation.
- Candidates should possess Fitting skills, with attention to garment construction, drape, and comfort for various body types.
- Relevant qualifications such as a diploma or degree in Fashion Design or a related field are beneficial.
- Proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or CAD tools) and basic technical drawing skills is an advantage.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and time management abilities, with capacity to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven workplace.
- Prior experience in apparel design or garment manufacturing, particularly in Ludhiana’s textile ecosystem, is a plus.
