Role Description The Fashion Design Team Lead is a full-time role responsible for overseeing the end-to-end design process for client projects. This role involves leading a team of designers, guiding concept development, and ensuring that designs meet brand guidelines, market trends, and manufacturability requirements.

The Team

Lead will collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to develop industry-standard tech packs, coordinate fabric and trim choices, and align design outputs with production capabilities. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing and refining design proposals, managing project timelines, providing feedback and mentorship to the design team,



and maintaining consistent communication with clients to translate their vision into executable products. The role also includes monitoring quality standards, optimizing design workflows, and supporting continuous improvement across the design function.

Qualifications

Strong Communication skills, including the ability to present ideas clearly and collaborate effectively with clients, designers, and manufacturing partners.

Proven Team Management and Team Leadership skills to guide, mentor, and motivate a design team in a remote setting.

Experience with Project Management, including planning, prioritizing tasks, and managing timelines across multiple client projects.

Demonstrated expertise in Product Design in fashion or apparel, with the ability to create detailed tech packs and production-ready designs.

Solid understanding of fashion manufacturing processes, fabric types, trims, and garment construction.

Ability to work independently, manage remote collaboration tools, and maintain a high level of accountability in a distributed team.

Relevant education in Fashion Design, Product Design, or a related field; equivalent professional experience will also be considered.

Experience working with fashion brands, D2C labels, or apparel businesses in a design or product development capacity is an advantage.
