Fashion Design Intern About Us

We are looking for a passionate Fashion Design Intern to join our team at Adwikaa, a premium designer boutique and fabric destination located in Gulbai Tekra, Ahmedabad.

At Adwikaa, we specialize in bridal couture, designer lehengas, ethnic wear, sarees, sherwanis, and custom-tailored outfits for weddings and special occasions. With a curated collection of over 10,000 fabrics and designs, we work closely with our clients to create garments that combine traditional Indian craftsmanship with contemporary design sensibilities.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in fashion design, styling, garment development, and boutique operations while working alongside experienced designers and tailoring professionals.

Role Description

As a Fashion Design Intern, you will be involved in various stages of the design and production process. From concept development and fashion illustration to fittings and final execution, you will gain practical exposure to the day-to-day operations of a premium fashion boutique.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in design research, trend forecasting, and collection development.

Create mood boards, fashion sketches, and design presentations.

Support fabric sourcing, trim selection, and sample development.

Assist with garment fittings, alterations, and quality checks.

Coordinate with tailors and production teams to ensure accurate execution of designs.

Support styling activities for photoshoots, campaigns,



and client presentations.

Help prepare lookbooks, visual merchandising materials, and design documentation.

Maintain fabric libraries, design samples, and studio organization.

Contribute creative ideas for bridal, ethnic, and occasion wear collections.

Qualifications

Pursuing or recently completed a degree or diploma in Fashion Design or a related field.

Strong understanding of fashion design, garment construction, and textiles.

Basic sewing, draping, pattern making, and garment alteration skills.

Interest in bridal couture, ethnic fashion, and custom garment development.

Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CorelDRAW, or similar design software is preferred.

Strong creativity, attention to detail, and organizational skills.

Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced boutique environment.

Willingness to learn and take ownership of assigned projects.
