Role Description The Fashion Consultant is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai, responsible for guiding clients through the process of selecting and customizing bridal couture. On a day-to-day basis, the role includes conducting personalized style consultations, understanding client preferences, suggesting suitable silhouettes, fabrics, and embellishments, and coordinating fittings.

The consultant will provide detailed product information, support sales by presenting collections and custom options, and ensure an exceptional in-store experience from first consultation to final delivery. The role also involves maintaining visual presentation standards, staying updated on bridal fashion trends,



and collaborating with designers and production teams to meet client expectations.

Qualifications

- Strong product knowledge & experience of bridal wear, fabrics, silhouettes, and embellishments, with the ability to explain these clearly to clients.
- Proficiency in fashion consulting and styling, including understanding body types, cultural preferences, and current bridal fashion trends.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to conduct client consultations and build long-term relationships.
- Customer service and client management skills to ensure a welcoming, professional, and solution-oriented in-store experience.
- Sales skills, including consultative selling, upselling, and closing orders in a luxury or premium retail environment.
- Prior experience in bridal, couture, or high-end fashion retail is preferred.
- Ability to work in office in Mumbai, including weekends and peak wedding seasons as required.
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to coordinate multiple client orders and fittings.
- Diploma or degree in Fashion Design, Fashion Styling, Retail Management, or a related field is an advantage.
