Faculty Mentoring

CRTEC has developed a multidisciplinary faculty mentoring structure for early career faculty. We promote and facilitate the development of a faculty mentoring committee for new investigators, consisting of two to four members who can provide a broad perspective on research and career progression, and act as sponsors for internal and external opportunities.

- For research faculty, we recommend the selection of at least one mentoring committee member who is a clinical investigator in their research area.
- For clinical faculty, we recommend the selection of at least one mentoring committee member from cancer-focused basic research, population science, and/or education.
