Ø Advocate for sight restoring cornea donation by compassionately and thoroughly informing donor families of cornea donation facts following the death of a loved one

Ø Actively monitor death notifications in hospitals (Security, Reception, Wards)

Ø Perform primary donor screening with attending physician

Ø Approach family members in a professional and sensitive manner

Ø Obtain transplant donation consent from next of kin with two witnesses

Ø Promote awareness of life saving benefits of cornea donation

Ø Obtain consent from police or mortuary personnel in case of medico legal case

Ø Immediate notification of eye bank to send technician for recovery





Ø Build skilled relations and inspire nursing and paramedical staff at assigned hospitals to help facilitate and promote cornea donation

Ø Attempt to bring comfort to grieving families by facilitating sight restoring cornea donation

Ø Professionally represent eye bank mission at all times

Ø Accurately compile daily/monthly reports and submit to Eye Bank Manager

Ø Perform other tasks and duties as assigned

Ø Help mentor new eye donation counselors on best practices

Pay: From ₹17,000.00 per month
