Description Boeing is hiring an Experienced AI-ML Engineer to work on next-generation AI/ML and engineering data analytics for aerospace applications. The role focuses on building analytics solutions that improve aircraft performance, fleet efficiency, and engineering productivity.

Experience

- 8+ years of expertise in AI software development and data analytics
- Experience in building and deploying GenAI/LLM powered solutions
- Hands-on experience with end-to-end ML lifecycle: data pipelines, training, deployment, monitoring, and optimization
- Strong written, oral, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills
- Solid research background in developing technologies and solutions through data science and analytics
- Typical 9+ years related work experience with Bachelor’s degree or 8+ years with Master’s degree

Qualification

- Bachelor’s degree
- Bachelor degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
- Master’s degree

Responsibilities

- Develop analytics solutions for aerospace applications
- Improve aircraft performance and fleet operational efficiency
- Improve productivity of Boeing engineering, operations, and manufacturing
- Simulate aircraft lifecycle scenarios for potential customers
- Support senior team members in shaping future AI, ML, image/video processing, NLP, GenAI, and data analytics direction
- Document research and development results and provide progress updates and project summaries
- Track and evaluate performance to ensure conformance to project plans and requirements

Additional Responsibilities

- Apply statistical and probabilistic methods, multivariate analysis, predictive analytics,



and deep learning to airplane health management, manufacturing, automation, supply chain, and related areas
- Help adopt new tools and technology
- Perform proof-of-concepts
- Help engagements implement and take over
- Mentor and guide junior data scientists on technical work and growth aspirations
- Work closely with an international team of software development and research engineers
- Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, and partners to execute cooperative plans
- Design, develop, and iterate on scalable AI/ML solutions
- Drive the MLOps lifecycle by establishing and maintaining robust pipelines
- Ensure timely deployment of models in a production environment
- Guide teams in applying data science and data modeling techniques
- Build and productize machine learning and deep learning models

Nice To Have

- Track record in performing research and development of highly innovative AI-driven solutions for difficult problems
- Hands-on coding and implementation
- Strong understanding of machine learning and Gen AI concepts
- Focus on Large Language Models, agentic systems, information retrieval systems, and advanced ML paradigms
- Experience with synthetic data generation, domain adaptation, or self-supervised learning
- Demonstrated capability with advanced visualization tools like Tableau and Power BI
