Role & Responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Executive Housekeeper to lead the housekeeping function and establish world-class cleanliness and presentation standards across the resort.

This role is responsible not only for guest rooms but also for ensuring that every guest-facing area consistently reflects the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene and maintenance.

Housekeeping Operations

- Lead and manage the Housekeeping Department.
- Supervise room cleaning, public area cleaning and laundry operations.
- Ensure all guest rooms are cleaned, inspected and ready before check-in.
- Maintain the highest standards of hygiene and presentation throughout the resort.

Resort Cleanliness & Hygiene Take complete ownership of the cleanliness and presentation of:

- Guest Rooms
- Reception & Lobby
- Restaurant & Buffet Areas
- Public Toilets
- Swimming Pool & Changing Rooms
- Banquet Halls
- Conference Facilities
- Public Walkways
- Guest Seating Areas
- Lawns and Guest-facing Outdoor Spaces
- Staff Uniform & Grooming Standards

Team Leadership

- Lead, train and motivate the housekeeping team.
- Develop daily cleaning schedules and inspection routines.
- Conduct regular quality inspections.
- Build a culture of discipline, ownership and attention to detail.




- Mentor the existing Housekeeping Supervisor and team.

Systems & Process

- Develop and implement housekeeping SOPs.
- Introduce daily, weekly and monthly housekeeping checklists.
- Ensure linen, laundry and housekeeping inventory are properly managed.
- Coordinate with Maintenance for timely closure of repair issues.
- Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety and housekeeping standards.

Guest Experience

- Ensure every guest experiences a clean, fresh and welcoming environment.
- Respond promptly to housekeeping-related guest requests and complaints.
- Monitor guest feedback and continuously improve housekeeping standards.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Degree/Diploma in Hotel Management or Hospitality preferred.
- 5-10 years of experience in housekeeping operations.
- Minimum 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Experience in resorts, boutique hotels or premium hospitality establishments preferred.
- Strong knowledge of housekeeping operations, laundry management and hygiene standards.
- Excellent leadership, training and team management skills.
- High attention to detail with a passion for cleanliness and quality.
- Solid planning, coordination and problem-solving ability.
- Comfortable relocating to Sonitpur, Assam.
