- Responsible for drafting and implementing the Safety, Health and Workplace management programs in the plant

- Carrying out EHS risk assessment and initiating corrective & preventive measures.

- Conducting EHS audits and internal audits

- Conduct prompt accident and incident investigation and analysis by recording, reporting, investigation, corrective measures and analysis.

- Spearheading the EHS improvements within the plants.

- Identifying, conceptualizing, and implementing improvement projects related to EHS.

- Initiating and handling improvement projects to better the EHS standards in the factory

- Regular monitoring & measurement of EHS performance.

- Developing training modules and training plant personnel in EHS

- Implementing the work permit system for various activities and monitoring the effectiveness of the same

Should have thorough knowledge of ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 and ILO standards for sustaining and improving the EHS management system in place.
