Role & responsibilities: -

Calibration & Maintenance

- Manage scheduled and breakdown maintenance of all process instruments.
- Oversee site-wide calibration programs for sensors, transmitters, and controllers.
- Troubleshoot complex loops, control valves, and analytical instruments.
- Direct emergency repair operations to minimize production downtime. [1, 2, 3, 4]

Automation & Systems Control

- Maintain PLC, SCADA, and DCS architectures across production blocks.
- Ensure Data Integrity compliance for computerized systems (21 CFR Part 11).
- Manage software backups, user access levels, and system audit trails.
- Program and modify logic sequences for process optimizations. [1]

Validation & Compliance

- Execute IQ, OQ, and PQ protocols for current instrument installations.
- Author and update SOPs, deviation reports, and change controls.
- Face regulatory audits (FDA,



MHRA, WHO) as the technical subject matter expert.
- Investigate out-of-calibration (OOC) events and implement corrective actions (CAPA). [1, 2]

Project & Team Leadership

- Supervise and mentor a team of junior engineers and technicians.
- Manage annual operational budgets for spare parts and calibration contracts.
- Collaborate with project teams on capital expenditure (CAPEX) upgrades.
- Evaluate vendor technical bids and oversee external service contractors. [1, 2, 3]
