Job Title: ETP Chemist (Local candidates prefreable)

Role & Responsibilities

As an ETP Chemist, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day chemical processes, analysis, and operations of the Effluent Treatment Plant to ensure compliance with environmental standards. Your key responsibilities include:

- Chemical Analysis & Testing: Conducting regular laboratory testing of raw and treated effluent for key parameters such as COD, BOD, pH, TDS, TSS, Oil & Grease, and DO.
- Process Control & Dosing: Determining and optimizing the correct dosing of chemicals (coagulants, decolourants, flocculants, hypo, etc.) based on daily laboratory test results.
- Plant Operation & Monitoring: Supervising the daily operations of the ETP, ensuring proper functioning of primary, secondary (biological), and tertiary treatment units.
- Logbook & Documentation: Maintaining accurate, up-to-date daily logs, test reports, chemical consumption records, and regulatory documentation.
- Troubleshooting: Identifying process deviations,



high pollutant loads, or biomass issues in the aeration tank and taking immediate corrective actions.
- Safety & Compliance: Ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols, handling hazardous chemicals safely, and maintaining clean lab and plant premises

Preferred Candidate Profile
- Experience: 0.6 Months (6 Months) to 1 Year of hands-on experience in an Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP). Freshers with robust internship experience in ETP/STP labs are also welcome to apply.
- Education: B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Environmental Science, or a Diploma/B.E. in Environmental/Chemical Engineering.
- Technical Skills: * Basic hands-on knowledge of laboratory testing (pH, COD, TDS, etc.).
- Locality Preference: Candidates residing in or willing to relocate to Vadodara and nearby industrial zones will be highly preferred.
