Role Description The Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Gandhidham Taluka. The role involves developing, implementing, and monitoring EHS policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with local regulations and company guidelines.

Day-to-day tasks include conducting risk assessments, safety audits, and inspections; identifying hazards; and recommending corrective and preventive actions. The EHS Engineer will provide training and guidance to employees on safety practices, emergency response, and environmental protection. The role also includes preparing reports, maintaining documentation, coordinating with internal teams and regulatory authorities, and supporting continuous improvement in workplace safety and environmental performance.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of environmental health and safety regulations, standards, and best practices, particularly in manufacturing environments.
- 4-5 year experience in conducting risk assessments,



safety audits, inspections, and incident investigations.
- Ability to design and deliver EHS training programs and promote a culture of safety and compliance.
- Proficiency in documenting policies, preparing reports, and maintaining EHS records and dashboards.
- Relevant technical or engineering qualification (e.g., Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Industrial Safety, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering, or related field).
- Professional certifications in EHS or industrial safety (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent) are preferred.
- Solid analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and frontline staff.
- Willingness to work on-site in Gandhidham Taluka and engage directly with operational processes and equipment.
