Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Engineering Services Practitioner with strong expertise in Aircraft Maintenance Manual (AMM) authoring and proofreading. The candidate will be responsible for providing end-to-end engineering services and developing accurate, high-quality technical documentation for aerospace programs.

The role primarily involves authoring and proofreading AMMs for XWB A350 and Legacy programs, including A320, A330/A340, and A380 aircraft.

Key Responsibilities

- Author and proofread Aircraft Maintenance Manuals (AMM) for XWB A350 and Legacy programs.
- Create and revise AMM content, particularly for A330/A340 Legacy programs.
- Analyze and interpret engineering drawings, technical reports, and aircraft/system information.
- Ensure technical documentation complies with applicable aerospace technical data processes and standards.
- Apply ASD-STE (Aerospace and Defence Simplified Technical English) while preparing technical documentation.
- Ensure compliance with ATA iSpec 2200 and S1000D standards.
- Collaborate with engineering, aircraft maintenance, and cross-functional teams to gather and validate technical information.
- Review technical content for accuracy, consistency, completeness, and compliance with documentation guidelines.
- Support resolution of technical queries and incorporate engineering changes into maintenance documentation.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of authoring, proofreading, and technical documentation processes.
- Work effectively with internal and external stakeholders while meeting project timelines and quality standards.





Required Skills & Experience

- 5+ years of relevant experience in AMM authoring/proofreading.
- Hands-on experience with XWB A350 or Legacy programs, particularly:

- A320

- A330/A340

- A380
- Strong knowledge of Aircraft Maintenance and aircraft systems.
- Experience in AMM creation, revision, and proofreading.
- Positive understanding of Aerospace Technical Data processes.
- Strong knowledge of ATA iSpec 2200 and S1000D standards.
- Ability to understand and use ASD-STE.
- Ability to analyze and interpret engineering drawings and technical reports.
- Strong technical writing and documentation skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a cross-functional team.

Good-to-Have Skills

- Knowledge of ATA Chapter 25 (ATA25).
- Experience with aerospace technical publication tools such as:

- GIPSY

- GIDOCA

- AIRINA

- IMS

- DACAS
- Previous experience in the aircraft maintenance field.
- Knowledge of engineering change management and technical publication processes.
- Understanding of project management principles and practices.

Educational Qualification

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Aerospace, Mechanical, Aeronautical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Equivalent relevant aerospace technical documentation experience may also be considered.
