Job Title: Emergency Medicine

Department: Emergency Medicine / Emergency Department

Job Summary The Emergency Medicine Physician is responsible for providing rapid assessment, diagnosis, stabilization, and treatment of patients presenting with acute illnesses and injuries. The physician manages medical emergencies, coordinates care with specialists, and ensures safe and timely disposition of patients.

Key Responsibilities

- Assess and triage patients presenting to the Emergency Department.
- Diagnose and manage acute and life-threatening medical conditions.
- Perform emergency procedures and provide immediate stabilization.
- Manage trauma, cardiac emergencies, respiratory emergencies, strokes, infections, and other acute conditions.
- Order and interpret appropriate laboratory tests and diagnostic imaging.
- Initiate resuscitation, including CPR and advanced life-support measures when required.
- Consult relevant specialists and coordinate multidisciplinary patient care.
- Decide on patient discharge, admission,



observation, or transfer.
- Maintain accurate and complete medical documentation.

Qualifications
- Medical degree (MBBS/MD or equivalent).
- Postgraduate qualification/training in Emergency Medicine or equivalent.
- Current medical registration/license
- Relevant emergency medicine experience is preferred.
