Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced C++ Developer with strong expertise in modern C++ programming, Linux-based development, software architecture, and system-level programming. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience developing scalable, high-performance applications and a strong understanding of software design principles, multi-threaded programming, and Linux internals.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance software applications using Modern C++ (C++11 and above).
- Apply software engineering best practices, including design patterns, SOLID principles, and architectural patterns, to build robust and maintainable solutions.
- Create and interpret UML diagrams and utilize modeling/design tools for system design and documentation.
- Develop, debug, and optimize applications on Linux platforms.
- Implement and troubleshoot Linux IPC mechanisms such as D-Bus, shared memory, sockets, message queues, and related system calls.
- Design and develop multi-threaded applications, ensuring efficient synchronization, concurrency, and performance.
- Create automation and utility scripts using Python and Shell scripting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define software architecture, requirements,
and technical solutions.
- Perform code reviews, debugging, performance tuning, and root cause analysis.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Robust proficiency in Modern C++ (C++11/14/17/20) programming.
- Solid experience in software design and architecture, including:
- Design Patterns and Design Principles
- Architecture Patterns
- UML Modeling and Design Tools
- Hands-on software development experience on Linux operating systems.
- Experience with Linux IPC mechanisms (e.g., D-Bus) and Linux system calls.
- Strong expertise in multi-threading, concurrency, and synchronization mechanisms.
- Proficiency in Python and Shell scripting for automation and development support.
- Strong knowledge of software development and debugging tools:
- Debugging & Analysis: GDB, Strace, Valgrind
- Build Tools: Make, CMake, Conan
- Version Control: Git
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in embedded systems, middleware, or system software development environments.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
