Role Description The Electronics Assembly Technician is a full time, on-site role based in Kochi. The technician will assemble electronic and mechanical components for biomedical equipment using hand tools, power tools, and soldering equipment.

Daily responsibilities include reading and following assembly drawings and wiring diagrams, performing mechanical assembly of parts and subassemblies, and carrying out basic electrical connections and soldering tasks. The role also involves inspecting assemblies for defects, conducting basic quality checks, and documenting work to meet internal standards and regulatory requirements.



The technician will collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve assembly issues, maintain a clean and safe workspace, and support continuous improvement in manufacturing processes.

Qualifications

- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in electronics and mechanical assembly.
- Practical experience in soldering and basic electrical assembly techniques.
- Skills in mechanical assembly of components and subassemblies.
- Knowledge of quality control practices, including visual inspection and functional checks.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and work instructions.
- Attention to detail, strong manual dexterity, and steady hand-eye coordination.
- Diploma or certificate in electronics, electrical, instrumentation, or a related technical field is preferred.
- Experience in medical device or precision manufacturing environments is an advantage.
- Commitment to safety, cleanliness, and adherence to standard operating procedures.
- Effective teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to follow guidance and meet production timelines.
