Key Responsibilities:

Electrical Works

- Perform electrical installation, repair, and maintenance work.

- Maintain electrical wiring, switches, sockets, lights, fans, and distribution boards.

- Troubleshoot and rectify electrical faults and breakdowns.

- Attend emergency electrical complaints promptly.

- Conduct preventive maintenance of electrical systems and equipment.

- Ensure electrical work is carried out safely and as per standards.

- Check and maintain generators, pumps, and other electrical equipment as assigned.

Plumbing Works

- Install, repair, and maintain water supply and drainage systems.

- Attend leakage, blockage, and plumbing-related complaints.

- Repair and replace taps, valves, pipes, washbasins, toilets, and sanitary fittings.

- Maintain water tanks, pumps, and related plumbing systems.

- Identify and rectify water leakage and drainage issues.

- Carry out preventive maintenance of plumbing systems.

General Maintenance

- Attend maintenance complaints received from various departments.

- Maintain tools, equipment, and materials properly.

- Maintain basic records of maintenance and repair work completed.





- Follow safety procedures while performing electrical and plumbing work.

- Coordinate with the Maintenance Supervisor for major repair requirements.

- Support other facility and maintenance activities whenever required.

Qualifications

- ITI / Diploma in Electrical, Plumbing, or relevant technical trade.

- Relevant technical certification will be an added advantage.

Experience

- 2–3 years of relevant experience in electrical and plumbing maintenance.

- Experience in educational institutions, hospitals, commercial buildings, or large facilities is preferred.

Skills & Competencies

- Good knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems.

- Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to handle emergency maintenance situations.

- Knowledge of workplace safety practices.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Positive communication and coordination skills.

- Willingness to work on shifts, weekends, or holidays when required.
