Job Title: Electrician – Garment Manufacturing

Department: Maintenance / Engineering

Reports To: Admin Manager / Electrical Manager

Job Summary

Responsible for electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and installation of garment manufacturing machines and factory electrical systems to ensure secure and uninterrupted production.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform preventive and breakdown electrical maintenance of garment machinery.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults in sewing machines, cutting machines, embroidery machines, printing machines, compressors, boilers, and other production equipment.
- Maintain and troubleshoot motors, control panels, sensors, wiring, relays, contactors, VFDs and PLC-related systems.
- Install and connect electrical wiring, panels, machines, lighting and other electrical equipment.
- Attend emergency machine breakdowns and minimize production downtime.
- Conduct regular inspection and preventive maintenance as per schedule.
- Read and understand electrical drawings and wiring diagrams.
- Maintain electrical maintenance records, breakdown reports and spare-parts usage.
- Assist with installation,



testing and commissioning of new machines.
- Ensure proper earthing and safe operation of electrical equipment.
- Follow electrical safety, PPE, 5S and company maintenance procedures.
- Coordinate with Production and Maintenance teams to resolve machine problems quickly.

Qualification

- ITI Electrician / Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Experience in garment or manufacturing industry is preferred.
- Freshers may be considered for junior positions.

Required Skills

- Electrical fault finding and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of motors, panels, sensors, wiring and control circuits.
- Basic knowledge of PLC/VFD systems is an advantage.
- Ability to use electrical testing instruments.
- Good problem-solving and communication skills.
- Willingness to work in shifts and attend breakdowns when required.

Experience 1–15 years, depending on the position level.

Both License and without License

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
