Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable and responsible Electrician & Plumber to handle basic electrical and plumbing maintenance work in our sweets and snacks factory, office, stores, and staff facilities.

The candidate should have basic practical knowledge of both electrical and plumbing work and be willing to handle day-to-day maintenance requirements.

Key ResponsibilitiesElectrical Work

- Handle basic electrical repair and maintenance work.
- Attend to issues related to lights, fans, switches, sockets, wiring, and basic electrical equipment.
- Replace bulbs, switches, sockets, wires, MCBs, and other basic components.
- Identify and rectify minor electrical faults.
- Assist with maintenance of electrical panels and machinery connections.
- Check and report electrical safety issues.
- Attend to electrical maintenance requirements across the factory, office, stores, and staff quarters.

Plumbing Work
- Handle basic plumbing repair and maintenance work.
- Attend to water leakage, damaged pipes, taps, valves, and fittings.
- Maintain water supply and drainage systems.
- Check and maintain water tanks, pumps, and pipelines.
- Attend to plumbing requirements in toilets, wash areas, kitchen areas, and factory premises.
- Identify water leakage and take necessary corrective action.
- Install or replace basic plumbing fittings when required.

General Responsibilities




- Respond quickly to maintenance complaints and breakdowns.
- Maintain basic records of repair and maintenance work.
- Keep tools and maintenance equipment properly maintained.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety while carrying out repair work.
- Inform the Factory Manager about major electrical or plumbing problems requiring external technicians.
- Assist external technicians during major maintenance work.
- Follow all factory safety, hygiene, and maintenance procedures.
- Perform other maintenance-related duties assigned by management.

Candidate Requirements
- Basic practical knowledge of electrical and plumbing work.
- Previous experience in factory, commercial, residential, or building maintenance is preferred.
- ITI or technical qualification is an advantage but not mandatory.
- Ability to troubleshoot and handle basic maintenance issues independently.
- Physically fit and comfortable working in a factory environment.
- Responsible, punctual, honest, and safety-conscious.
- Willingness to learn and take responsibility for day-to-day maintenance.

Reporting

Reports to Factory Manager / Management.

Salary

Salary will be based on experience and suitability.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
